This Mad Hatter stands 41 inches tall. Genuine rose-gold filled wire lines his psychedelic eyes and sprouts into whiskers around his face. Tiles and numerous found items decorate the Styrofoam core covered with fiberglass, acrylic latex, cement and sand. While created to withstand the outside elements, Go Ask Alice would make an exceptional entry way into a game room or a home theater. Serenity is a mixed-media piece perfect for the out-of-doors. She is 19 X 12 X 14, and made from walnut shells (easily seen from the back view I would be glad to email you), Arkansas found rocks and birdnest, and cement-based products. Outdoors the birdnest will, of course, fade--but they are fun and easy to find and replace. You may wish to remove the nest and add some favorite rocks or shells of your own

This 15 X 15 X 14 mixed-media piece can remind some of us of the need to re-treat ourSelves, to treat ourSelves over and over again, by drawing into a quiet place of stillness. This piece is made from Arkansas rocks, a glazed clay piece I made, a small candle, wire, and cement-based products. You might prefer to remove the clay piece in The Re-Treat's hollow and fill it with special items of your own. She has large, solid feet to keep her grounded.

Strong, simple, calm and receptive, this Primitive Woman is 20 inches tall and weighs about 55 pounds. She is constructed of structural metal, color, and hypertufa. Mother of pearl shells line line her hollow, into which rests a large natural crystal.

This Primitive Woman looks like she's ready to dance the night away with her dramatic swirls and curves. Constructed of found wood, concrete, resins, and metal, she stands 24 inches tall and weighs about 52 pounds.

This is one of my favorite Primitive Women: she also placed in a recent art center competition. I use this image as my screen saver and get an inner grin every time I come to my computer (you are welcome to do the same!). She is made from a brake rotor and concrete, is 10 inches tall, and weighs a surprisingly heavy 30 pounds. Placed on a Lazy-Susan, it is possible to enjoy her from every angle.

These hanging Primitive Women are one of my best-selling sculptures. I make them, one at a time, all slightly different, from hyper-tufa, a light cement-based mixture which withstands freeze-thaw cycles, and over time develops a soft patina, making them appear ancient. They are hanging pieces, meant to be used outdoor on a tree or a deck, yet I have heard of some being used indoor in a study. In size, they measure from 10 to 16 inches tall. Most of these Primitive Women wear some sort of jewelry, such as raw crystals, sea shells, teeth or bones.

Family sculptures depicting groups of two, three, and four are shown below (other numbers welcome by custom order). Each free-standing piece, which measures about 5 inches tall, 8 wide and 3 deep, is carved one at a time from a variety of cement-based mixtures, and is appropriate for both interior and exterior use. The rough texture adds to the primitive feel of the work.

This Primitive Woman is 20 inches tall and 20 deep. This joyful creation of metal, concrete and coloring is flat on the back, very fat in the front, and embedded in a hexagonal stand. She features a natural river rock for her heart.

Pieces in Lee's Goddess for Every Garden series remain one of Stone County Art's best sellers. Each Goddess is unique and hand-made, with the receptive, holding space carefully shaped one at a time. They range in size from 6 to 18 inches. Try one both indoors and out to find her right spot, where she can remind us all of the wisdom and strength of the feminine from the earliest of times to the present. Money Goddess sits 5 inches high, 6 wide, and 7 deep. She's from coins, clay, cement color and cement-based products, and will do well in a flowerbed or on an interior alter, where she can remind the money to keep flowing in.

Made from a variety of cement products, Goddess Arise stands about 8 inches tall.

Cement color, cement-based products, and a flame-worked bead were added to this 13 X 13 blue commercial tile to form piece about 3 or 4 inches thick. It could look good in a number of outdoor settings. Made from a variety of cement products, Goddess Arise stands about 8 inches tall.

Isn't that what we're all wanting, bottom line? This reminder is carved from a special cement-based mixture which is equally suited for indoor or outdoor use. However, the peas (which are from our own garden) might mold and need to be replaced if you leave this little guy out in your flowerbed or by your back door during the rains. Each of these little hang-carved sculptures is about 7 inches tall.
