Mosaic Stones
These mosaics are set in a variety of cement products, and they measure from 6 to 18 inches across.
Depending on the tessera and design, the stone might be used as a Lazy Susan, table top,
decoration placed on a stand, stepping stone, or a verticle focal point in a rock wall, flowerbed or
fountain. Enjoy!

StoneScapes©
The following mosaic stones I call StoneScapes©. They are 3-dimensional and highly textured,
so are not appropriate for horizontal uses. Many need some need protection from the elements.

Snake Sky
Snake Sky won an honorable mention at an art center competition.
The piece measures 15 inches across, is set in a loose cement mixture,
and is extremely sensuous. An actual snake skin found in Stone County
winds through the piece and has begun to skeletonize. Rusting barbed
wire arches across the top of the piece. An arrowhead and feathers are included
along with a plastic moon and sparkling stars (which indeed sparkle when
candle light strikes them). This primitive landscape needs protection
from the elements.

ArkanStone©
This Arkansas Stone Scape© features tessera either found
or made exclusively in The Natural State. It is set in a special cement-based mixture
and measures approximately 6 inches across.

Delta Exhibit
The Delta Exhibit is 12 inches long, 9 high and 1 1/2 thick. Set in
concrete, the design is made from tile, native rock and a piece of a found horse shoe.
This Stone Scape© can easily withstand the outdoor elements, and would look good on
a stand near an entrance, tree, or barbecue area.
