International Chicks at Happy Hour

International Chicks at Happy Hour is a set of 5 notecards with envelopes. The image was taken by the artist and her niece Kara Kelcey of their dinner during the first annual Off the Beaten Path Open Studio Tour in September of 2002. The chick on the left is Italian (basil, oregano, and so forth) while the chick on the right is Indian. By adding wine to each empty Coke can before putting it on the grill, both chicks were delicious.

It's A Funny World

It's A Funny World measures about 12 inches in diameter. The platter was made by hand and glazed twice in colors of the rainbow and the earth. Next handmade glass beads, sea glass and sea shells, gold stars and bright Snoopy characters were attached. This piece is designed for interior use only, and would look great on the right wall with a plate hanger, or on a shelf displayed on an easle.
